LIKE A FEVER

Photologue | Shanghai and Hangzhou, Apr 2008

It’s amazing how much gets accomplished over food and a foot rub in China. When my Hong Kong colleagues suggested covering the 80th anniversary of the China Academy of Art from 10 to 12 April, I jumped at the opportunity to get an up-close and personal taste of the local art scene. The trip also provided a perfect opportunity to check out Shanghai’s Moganshan art district. On 7 April, I boarded a plane with Zheng Shengtian, the Managing Editor of Yishu, and headed south.
