Cultural Ecologies: Communicating Contemporary Art in the 21st Century

Jointly organized by the AAA, the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Home Affairs Bureau, Hong Kong SAR Government, this was a four-day event comprising a symposium and workshops held from 9–12 November 2006.

As part of the 'Asia Cultural Co-operation Forum 2006', this symposium and workshop brought together professionals from some of the world's most important art organizations, from the major public museums to the smaller artist run-spaces, to discuss the importance of multiple platforms from which to communicate contemporary art today.
