Asia Art Archive seeks IT Project Assistant
 
 

Asia Art Archive, a non-profit organization housing the world’s most comprehensive archival collection on Asian contemporary art, would like to invite applicants for the post of IT Project Assistant (Web Programmer), to assist in the execution of the Digital Infrastructure Redevelopment Project at the Archive.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Computing Studies/ Information Technology, preferably with relevant experience in system development, technical support and/or web programming.

The successful candidates will be web programmers, participating in various stages of an IT system development project lasting for 12 months. You should possess the following qualities:
• Knowledge of programming such as C#/JAVA;
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, AJAX;
• Knowledge of database management;
• Interest in programming;
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies;
• Good communication skills, fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, learn quickly and work under pressure with minimum supervision, delivering results to tight deadlines;
• Interest in the visual arts would be an advantage.
