Published in conjunction with the exhibition 'Onda Anomala' (Abnormal Wave), a parallel event to Manifesta 7 that took place in Trento, Italy from July to August 2008. Curated by Angelo Capasso and Martina Köppel-Yang, it brings together the work of seven artists of Chinese origin from different generations and backgrounds whose tendency to act autonomously place them in a marginal, yet influential position. They are likened to an 'abnormal wave' known for its erratic nature and potential to cause decisive change. List of works and brief artist biographies are provided.
