Asia Art Archive, one of the world’s leading public resources and an exciting ideas platform for contemporary Asian art, seeks an accomplished professional to develop and oversee development and communication for the organization. The individual will work closely with the Executive Director to raise the annual funds for the organization to include operations, projects and endowment; and work closely with the different departments to articulate and communicate the organizations programs to the public and its stakeholders.

Reporting to the Executive Director, he/she is an integral member of the senior management team and must develop a strong, effective working relationship with other staff, board members, funders, and government officials.

* Closely assist the Executive Director in all matters relating to development and communication of the organization
* Assist the Executive Director with raising annual funds for operations and projects
* Communicate with existing patrons and oversee Patrons Programmes
* Identify and act on new funding opportunities and cultivate relationships with possible patrons
* Work closely with the AAA team to articulate project proposals and budgets
* Develop communication strategies for the organisation and special projects
* Have ability to professionally represent AAA in public

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
* Excellent interpersonal skills in communication (both written and spoken)
* Dynamic with ability to solve problems creatively and diplomatically
* Organised, Flexible and ready to put in extra time after office hours
* Proven skills developed through 3 years in a relevant position with a non-profit arts organization
* Relevant BA degree in the arts
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Bilingual Chinese/English
