In commemoration of Daegu's hosting of the international sports festival - IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011, 'Now in Daegu 2011' is held as the Anniversary Exhibition from late August to early September 2011. In light of illustrating Daegu's history of contemporary art, both established and emerging artists are presented in the exhibition.
'International Media Art Exhibition: What is Art Worth?', Part One of the exhibition focuses on recent works and new media art, while the second part, 'Light and Spirit of Daegu Art' showcases paintings and sculptures completed between 1920s and 2000s by established artists. This catalogue includes works of more than 90 participating artists, both local and international.
